SORSN: You helped your team get off to a fast start with a 14-0 lead in the 1st quarter. Before the game, did you know that you would be getting the bulk of the carries to start the game?
Daniel: No, I had no clue, but I’m glad I did get the ball the most.
SORSN: In the playoffs, the Waves could face CAK, Greenback, Oneida, or Coalfield. Which team would you rather play again?
Daniel: Well right now I’m worrying about Sunbright. I don’t want to look too far ahead.
SORSN: Earlier in the season you told us that you like to get a good-luck kiss from your girlfriend before the game. Did you get that kiss before the Oakdale game? If so, would you contribute the kiss to your game performance?
Daniel: No, not this time, but I hope I get one before the Sunbright game.
SORSN: Of the running backs, you’re the smallest however you’re one of the hardest to tackle, especially once you get past the initial defensive line. What has been your favorite run this year? What is your favorite play for the coaches to call?
Daniel: In the Jellico game when I scored on the first play. Favorite Play-“spread left 31 counter at 6”.
SORSN: What does your team still need to improve on before the playoffs begin?
Daniel: Stop the silly penalties, improve on special teams, and work together.
SORSN: Name this tune:
“…..makin’ their way, the only way they know how. But that’s just a little bit more than the law will allow.”
Daniel: “Good old boys” Dukes of Hazard. We also heard this was the song of choice at your wedding.
SORSN: Correct. And I see you have done a little research. To my surprise, a clip of that song was played at my wedding as myself, the Preacher, and my Best Man made our way into the church sanctuary.
