Both the Lady Waves and Waves ended 2-game losing streaks with wins over Grace Christian.
The Lady Waves have really turned the 2nd half of the season around by going 3-3 since the new year. The Lady Waves pulled out a close one 39-34 as they look to carry the momentum into the big game against Greenback this Friday.
The Greenwaves were coming off a big lose to Cosby and won convincingly over Grace Christian 80-42.
Spencer “Please Let Me Sleep Longer” Myers was quick to phone the SORSN staff Tuesday night informing us that he ended his slump as he put up 26 points, going 5 of 6 from the charity strip. Myers also laid claim to fame that he got a dunk but we’ve yet to validate his story.
Justin Pressley had a big game as he followed Myers with 17 points as well as 5 steals. Austin Parkison distributed the ball well as he tallied 6 assists. Big numbers for all three considering they played less than 3 quarters.
This Friday night….GREENBACK at home! S-O-R! S-O-R! We hope to see Private Stansbury and the magical scarf and hopefully the weather will allow for some pre-game tailgating, eh?
