It took an extra quarter of play to decide the winner, unfortunately for the Lady Waves who managed just 4 points in overtime; the winner was Grace Christian, 50-49.
The Lady Waves had 7 different scorers, but only Lyndsay Davidson was in double digits with 12.
With this loss, the season ends for the Lady Waves. It is also the final game for two seniors: Lyndsay “I Score By 3s” Davidson and R2 – Rachel Renfro.
The Waves rolled past Grace Christian in the 1st round of the tournament, 66-49. The Greenwaves had 7 different scorers, 4 of which were in double digits: Myers 20, Lloyd 15, Pressley 14, Woody 10.
The Greenwaves will face Cosby in what is certain to be an emotional game on Wednesday night at 8:00 at Greenback.
