Down by 3 at the end of the 3rd quarter, the Greenwaves had an explosive 4th quarter scoring 24 points in the final stanza to beat Coalfield 52-40.
Jeremy Woody, senior forward, and Austin Parkinson, senior Guard, had the hot hand and the duo put up 19 and 21 points respectively.
The Midway defense held Coalfield’s Gunter to only 8 points.
Midway will travel to Rockwood on Friday for their 2nd meeting in 2 weeks.
