The Midway football team had a spring scrimmage against Grace Christian last week. SORSN’s freelance photographer, Travis Action Jackson, reported that though the offense looked shaky, both the offensive and defensive lines played aggressive and saw a “mean streak” in them that had been previously missing. Two quarterbacks saw action; Eric Stansbury and Quinton Pressley. Not much of the offense was shown however, they did work on their passing game. A highlight came when Poe, opting to use everything other than his hands, hauled in a 50 yard bomb for a touchdown.
