“The storybook season of the Midway Lady Waves came to an end tonight as the girls in Green were defeated by the Unaka Lady Rangers 5-4 in an exciting game that went down to the last out. The Lady Rangers grabbed 4 first inning runs and held on as the Lady Waves battled back to within 1 before running out of time. It has been a great year, full of some of the most exciting games and heart-stopping victories that I have had the pleasure to watch. So many great kids on this team and so many more victories to come for these young ladies. We love ya Michelle and Haley!!!”
