SORSN: Coach, a rough opener last week at Lookout Valley against a team that perhaps Midway fans underestimated. You have a young team; how do you help them forget about the loss and direct their attention to the upcoming home opener?
Coach Campbell: We watched Friday’s game just enough to see exactly what we needed to improve on. After that we forget about it, that was Friday and this is Whitwell week and we have to get ready.
SORSN: What can you tell us about the Whitwell Tigers?
Coach Campbell: Whitwell is a tough team that is coming in here Friday night looking for a win.
SORSN: You took the field for the first time as a head football coach last week and this week, will be your first home game as a head football coach. Tell us, were you more nervous taking the field as a player the first time or as a head coach?
Coach Campbell: Friday was by far the most nervous I have ever been. As a player, you get nervous and you take every feeling out on that first play. Friday I was anxious after every play call.
Thank you for your time coach and we look forward to Friday night football returning South of the River.
