Will the Panel go all in for Green for Game 5?

The 1-3 Greenwaves will host the winless Jellico Blue Devils this Friday night at the Emerald Forest. The Waves are coming off a loss against Greenback, where they played them about as well as possible. Unfortunately the Waves did suffer some injuries during the game against the ‘kees. Will the Waves be ready this Friday to get win #2 or will Jellico’s winless season come to an end? Let’s ask the Panel.

Kyle Canup:
I believe Midway will bounce back from last week’s lost to Greenback, and pick up their second win of the season.
Unrelated – I thundered the one and only Shawn Queener in fantasy football this past weekend, it’s really affected him so try and raise his spirits when you see him Friday night.

Sir Canup had about 2 more paragraphs of boring coach speak….I did everyone a favor by shortening his write-up.

Tony Clower:
The Jellico Blue Devils will definitely come to Green Wave Country hungry for a win after an 0-4 start to the season. I believe the Green Wave will be equally as hungry to get win #2. I believe the Green Wave running attack will be able to pile up some yards and put up some points. I’ll take the Green Wave 24-6.

Steven Sears:
This should be a good matchup for the Greenwaves. Jellico (0-4) got thumped last season by Midway. Both teams have had a tough start this season, but I really think Midway has a good shot this week. Midway needs to generate some offense, stand strong on defense, and remember to play 4 quarters of smart football. Just don’t take notes from last week’s Tennessee –Florida game! I’m taking Midway 26 to 14 over the Jellico Blue Devils. GO BIG GREEN!

Ralton Emory:
The Greenwave had a tough time this past Friday with a very tough WBR (William Blount Rejects) team from Greenback.

Things should be a bit easier this Friday as the Jello Blue Poltergeists come to our home turf.

The 330th ranked Waves will be home in the friendly confines of the Emerald Forrest as they battle the 336th rank team from “almost Kentucky”. The questions that need to be answered: can the Waves recover from the beating they received this past week – mentally, more than physically; can we make that next step and learn from our setbacks; will Ken Yager be there as two teams from his opposite ends of his district are playing each other; does jello really melt in water; etc.?

Midway 24 Jello 12

Barry Narramore:
Can’t believe it’s week 5 and I haven’t seen the green play one time. Sounds like we’ve struggled a bit early with one win but I think this week we right the ship and get Win number 2. It’s also homecoming week and the little school South of the River has a cast of beautiful young ladies lined up to vie for the coveted homecoming queen crown. So get off the couch and come on over and support our team and our homecoming queen candidates!!!!! Give me the Greenwaves by 14!

Amber Johnson:
I think Midway will pull this one out. Jellico has a long bus ride to the Emerald Forest. Plus, it’s homecoming; you gotta win the homecoming game, right?
