SORSN.com and SORSN.com followers
As many of you may know or have heard, the SORSN.com hotline has been ringing off the hook ever since our big reveal of the Luke Bryan/Midway T shirt photo went public on Wednesday night. The Facebook likes, reposts, emails, phone calls, text messages and the colorful language email from the unknown Greenback fan have been equal parts interesting, amusing, comical and, in summary, entertaining. SORSN.com senses that Wednesday night may have been a turning point in the websites history, as it will always be known as the night SORSN.com Facebook went viral. All we can say is onward SORSN.com and thanks for the support.

Also for anyone who thought for a minute that the Greenback/Midway rivalry was dead, even though the series has been a bit lopsided lately, the staff at SORSN.com can assure you that the rivalry does indeed live on. There are very few teams on the schedule that we like to see the Green team beat more than the Blount County Satterfields, and throughout this process and dealing with some of our not so friendly Cherokee neighbors, our opinion has been confirmed. We are hopeful that one day soon the tide in the rivalry and that the Green team will ride again in victory.

Finally, SORSN.com wanted to take a minute to set the record straight and answer a few of the burning questions that our faithful and loyal readers have bombarded us with over the last few days. Sit tight and hold on, here we go:
1. Is the photo real? The most burning question has been the authenticity of the photo. In short, while the SORSN.com editor was not at the concert where the photo was taken and cannot confirm or deny its authenticity, we do put our trust in our high integrity journalistic sources to provide mostly accurate content on a fairly consistent basis. In summary, we have no reason to believe the photo is real, and we have no reason to believe the photo is fake (although if it were fake, we would probably would have gone to the retro Wave logo that was popular in the 70’s and early 80’s, anybody remember that one?).
2. Who was the source of the photo? When we first were asked the question about who provided the photo, SORSN.com, was hesitant to provide its source. SORSN.com is always careful to protect the identity of our deep and far reaching sources, as it allows us to have cutting edge information delivered to the thousands of SORSN.com readers in an ultra-fast manner. As the questions of the photos grew in its scope and reach, SORSN.com reached out to the provider to ask if we could reveal the providers identity, and of more interest, to tell the story of why and how the photo came about. While the source preferred to remain anonymous we did get the ok to provide the story of the tshirt from the source.
3. What’s the story behind the t-shirt? Upon questioning by SORSN.com staff, our source revealed that he (yes it’s a he) and Luke Bryan are longtime friends. Here are our notes from our interview with our somewhat trusted source: “Not many people know this, but Luke and I go way back to kids growing up, as his family and ours were distantly related. While I am a bit older than Luke, he used to come up from Georgia to south of the river on occasion during the summers and hang out. We hit if off immediately and have stayed in touch ever since. When I found out he was playing this week up on that Blount County farm, I texted him and asked him if he could do a big favor and sport the Midway shirt you see in the photo. He only wore if for a short time on stage as a favor to me, and slipped it off between songs as not to invite a big Midway/Greenback controversy. Not many people noticed it, and I clicked the photo on my phone with the intent to keep it quiet, but felt I needed to share it with SORSN.com, as you guys are the voice for all things SOR.I guess the rest is history.”

So there you have it folks, the story of the Luke Bryan Midway Tshirt. Do you believe the photo? Ultimately it is up to the good folks SOR to decide whether the photo is real or not. As for the SORSN.com staff, we have no reason to doubt our sources, but on a related note, we also at one time believe or have believed in the Easter Bunny, the Great Pumpkin, Santa Clause, and Derrick Dooley.

The bigger question is do you believe that Midway football will rise up and return to the days when a win over Greenback was not a surprise but an expectation? For that one, SORSN.com is all in for the boys from the south.
Go Big Green and SOR.
