Waves Win With Ease

It turned ugly in a hurry. The Grace Christian Rams were no match for the red hot Greenwaves. The Greenwaves were up 23-2 at the end of the 1st quarter and it didn’t get any better for the team out of Knoxville as the Greenwaves won easily, 64-39.

At one point, the Greenwaves were up by 39 points. If you weren’t able to make it out to watch the game, let me sum up the majority of the 4 quarters:

“Grace Christian looks to inbound the ball against the Midway press; ooooh, inbounds pass stolen by Pressley.”
“Grace Christian looks to inbound the ball against the Midway press; ooooh, inbounds pass stolen by Myers.”
“Grace Christian looks to inbound the ball against the Midway press; ooooh, inbounds pass stolen by Lloyd.”
“Grace Christian looks to inbound the ball against the Midway press; ooooh, inbounds pass stolen by Parkison.”
“Grace Christian looks to inbound the ball against the Midway press; ooooh, inbounds pass stolen by Settlemyer.”
“Grace Christian looks to inbound the ball against the Midway press; ooooh, inbounds pass stolen by Townsend.”
“Grace Christian looks to inbound the ball against the Midway press; ooooh, inbounds pass stolen by the Student Section.”
“Grace Christian looks to inbound the ball against the Midway press; ooooh, inbounds pass stolen by Spencer’s Papaw.”
“Grace Christian looks to inbound the ball against the Midway press; ooooh, inbounds pass stolen by Jeremy’s Papaw.”

The Greenwaves are also beginning to shoot the ball better from the charity strip. Josh Lloyd is distinguishing himself as the best shooter from the line. I wish I could say the same for “B-R-I-C-K” Myers!

The Greenwaves are off until December 28th when Midway plays host to the Roane County Tournament which will have games starting at 10:30 AM until the final tip-off at 9:00 PM for 3 straight days.
