Midway rallies from nine down with 90 seconds left
Trailing by nine points with 90 seconds left to play, Midway High School found a way to win Tuesday night.
Ten unanswered points to close the game led the Green Wave to a 48-47 boys’ basketball victory over visiting Harriman.
Jeremy Woody, who led Midway with 13 points and seven rebounds, scored the game-winner on a layup with 8 seconds remaining, just the second time Midway led.
After Woody’s layup, Austin Parkison came away with his fifth steal for the Green Wave (8-4 overall, 3-0 in District 3-A).
