In what was one of the most thrilling games to date, not to mention the longest 4 quarter game imaginable, the Waves held on to a 23-21 win over Rockwood; the first win over Rockwood since 1989.
From the start of the game, it looked like Lady Luck was on Midways side this night. Midway was forced to punt on their opening position but the punt was accidentally touched by a Rockwood player and Midway was able to regain possession. A few plays later, Woody went to the air for Lloyd who was well covered. Lloyd, acrobatically, managed to catch the ball off the deflection for the touch down.
