Midway gets win number 2 with a 38-0 romp over Oakdale.
The game started out slow with the Waves looking flat-footed. However, the Waves would get rolling in the 2nd quarter, putting up 21 points before the half. Midway’s backfield of Bray, Bredwell, and Woody was too much for the Oakdale defense. Both Bray and The Highlight Reel put together some big runs and Woody was able to pick up yardage by foot as well as connecting in the air.
Josh Lloyd (#2) had a solid game with several receptions as well as an interception returned for a TD.His 6’3″ frame has become a great addition to the wide out position.
But it was the Midway D-E-F-E-N-S-E that just didn’t allow Oakdale to get any momentum and kept them off of the scoreboard.
The entire defense played well from the opening drive to the final buzzer.
