The 2005 season comes to an end with a 20-13 1st Round Playoff loss to Cloudland.
It was another game for the Waves that came down to the final two-minutes. With Cloudland on offense, Midway’s Jeremy Woody came up with a big hit, stopping Cloudland and giving Midway back the ball. However, Woody dislocated his shoulder on the tackle and the Waves would have to turn to Seth Lyle to step in as the back-up QB. Lyle would pick up a big gain on a keeper but with the starting QB out, the offense would soon stall.
Congratulations to the Waves on a great season which included their 6th straight trip to the playoffs.
Thank you to the Seniors for a great season as well as the big win over Rockwood earlier in the season, breaking a 17 year drought.
