The Midway High School Football Awards Banquet was held on February 4th. Awards such as All-Region, All-County, Defensive Player of the Year, MVP, etc. etc. were handed out.
But more importantly, the 2nd annual SORSN.com awards were given out as well. Awards such as Best Hair and Best Nickname were among those presented and were highly sought after. Players resorted to bribery, even blackmail, in attempts of getting their names engraved on the SORSN.com awards.
Five SORSN.com awards were presented: Best Hair, Best Jab, Best Moment of 2005, Kodak Moment of the Year, and Best Nickname. Best Nickname was voted on by visitors to the web site, all other awards were decided on by the SORSN staff. Below is a listing of the winners.
