Week3 Interview with Britt and Blasko

SORSN: You seem to live in the weight room, especially during the off-season. Tell us about your work out routine. What were you benching when you first started practicing with the high school and what are you benching now?

Dayne: I try to get in the weight room as much as I can. My dad turned the garage into a mini gym so that helps when I can’t get in the fieldhouse. I do the core lifts, but at home I do other non-football lifts. For sets, 135lbs then and now 175lbs I think. I suck at bench.

SORSN: You recovered a fumble last week against Oakdale and helped the Waves defense to shut out Oakdale. Going back to last season, the Green Wave defense now has 4 shut outs in their last 9 games. Describe to us the responsibility, the pride, the work that goes into being a “Hog” for the Midway D and O line.

Dayne: There’s a lot of responsibility because we have to protect Woody and all the backs, I take a lot of pride in being a hog, while the receivers are taking one of their 200 + water breaks we’re in the hog pen working hard so we can win games.

SORSN: Which do you get more excited about and why
