SORSN: First of all, update us on your injury?
Harley: I’m fine, I kinda liked getting hurt, I finally seen the Big Craig Moser’s soft side.
SORSN: Tell us what this season has been like for you and the rest of the Four Horsemen.
Harley: The four horseman thing really brought all four of us together. Plus its something to brag about to the rest of the team.
SORSN: Flash back to a few weeks ago: With a 28-14 lead over the Blue Devils at halftime, the team got a nice round of applause from the crowd as you headed off the field and around to the locker room which is located directly behind the visitor stands. What was the team’s sense of feeling as you headed into the locker room after having received the well-deserved attention from the fans?
Harley: We actually were quite happy. It’s something that really kicked us into gear on realizing we were playing for region.
SORSN: Earlier this year, you set a school record for longest run from scrimmage on a play where you went 94 yards against Oakdale. The team has set two scoring records this season and could be on track to set the record for most wins. Have you talked about the records with family and/or teammates? If so, what all has been discussed?
Harley: Well I really gave Coach Gordon heck. If everyone don’t know his son (Shane) held the previous record. All he could say is, “Arg Blah Getta my sons still better” or something like that.
SORSN: You don’t seem to be the type to get nervous, but with all the expectations now on this team, do you feel a sense a pressure? If so, how do you handle it?
Harley: The only pressure I really feel is trying to be a leader and to try to get Assy to actually realize that every game isn’t a “Cakewalk”. Assy if you read this don’t hurt me I’m sorry.
SORSN: Obviously the team would love to have the Rockwood game as a do-over, but is there a single play from the season thus far that you would like to have over again? What about a single play from your career at MHS?
Harley: This season would probably have to be the play that I got my concussion on. Maybe I should not hit that guy so hard.
SORSN: What has been your favorite play this season that you would love to relive again?
Harley: The 94 yard run against Oakdale.
