Interview with Coach Moser

SORSN: This Friday you travel I-75 south to visit 2A Sequatchie County. Last year, the Waves cruised to a 48-3 victory over the then, 1-4 Indians. This year the tribe is 5-0 and has produced a lot of buzz in their area. What is different about this Sequatchie County team compared to last year’s team?

Coach Moser: We thought they had alot of talent last year. They again have good players and they are confident and playing well together. It will take a great effort on our part to get a victory.

SORSN: What does the Green Waves have to do to be successful again this year against Sequatchie County?

Coach Moser: Effort, discipline, execution, turn-overs, penalties, fight 4 quarters

SORSN: General Neyland is famous for the seven maxims of Football at UT. What do you use to focus your team before a game?

Coach Moser: We watch the Smurfs and eat popcorn. Coach Gordon eats chili, Coach O’Toole pukes with Googin, Coach Walker lays in the tanning bed, Coach Steve listens to Katie Perry, and Coach Goldston smiles. It might be the Green Kool-Aid.

SORSN: SORSN was unable to get any game coverage from the week 4 game against BYE. How is the BYE team able to enforce such a large media black out?

Coach Moser: If sorsn isn’t able to get info then no media outlet can.

SORSN: Coach after watching the game last week it seems as if the toughest competition of the night may have been found at the dance after the game. Any injury reports from the after game festivities?

Coach Moser: I don’t know of any, however, we did find out former player Joe Campbell plays a mean game of hiding-go-seek. Last year we thought Coach Hayes was going to start a new tradition, but for the 2nd year in a row, no new traditions.

SORSN: Sources say that a SORSN staff member, who asked not to be identified, is famous for a dance known simply as “The Worm”. Could you give us a scouting report on the dance moves of the current coaching staff?

Coach Moser: Steve dances to the Urban Beat. Gordon and Walker do “The Chicken Dance”. O’Toole is just trying to get someone to dance with him.

Thank you Coach Moser and good luck to you and the men on Friday night.
