Interview with Wakon Roberson

SORSN Interview with junior wide receiver, #5, Wakon Roberson.

SORSN: You had a big game last Friday against Coalfield, hauling in a pair of catches for 60 yards and a touch down. What made you successful against the Coalfield secondary?

Wakon: Mainly Coach Mo. He saw where I could beat them and tagged both of those routes in. I also was a head taller than the corner.

SORSN: What has practice been like this week as you all prepare to face an unbeaten Sequatchie County team?

Wakon: Very up tempo except that Nick Googin & Coach Steve have been on a “chop chop chop” rampage.

SORSN: What is the reasoning behind the white, Michael Jackson glove that you wear on your right hand?

Wakon: Me & Michael go way back..we used to hang at the ol’ Neverland Ranch.

SORSN: What is the current skunk population on Cade Road? Is anything being done to reduce their numbers?

Wakon: Slightly increasing since Tanner’s departure. Not since the Tanner Skunk Massacre of 2006.

SORSN: Have you ever seen a Chevy with them butterfly doors? Is stuntin’ really a habit? Who is stuntin’ (stuntin’) the most on the team?

Wakon: Neo’s VW Bug had butterfly doors and it flew away so he has no transportation now. Stuntin’..one word..deadly, and I try to avoid at all cost. Are biggest stunter is Ray because to quote him, “he is fresher than the Kroger deli”
