Week 6: Midway @ Greenback Pick Panel

Ralton Emory:
I can’t stand the team from Blount, err, Monroe, uhh, Loudon County (they recruit players from the others – just kidding guys). Anyway, I don’t see our fortune changing this week. I’m hoping for a Iowa/Penn State type of upset.
Give me GB, unfortunately.

Barry Narramore:
Tough game at O.S. last week. Waves need to put that one behind them and more on to this week with long time rival Greenback staring them in the face. This one should be a great game to watch. Midway 14 Greenback 13. Go Waves!!!

Randy Rose:
This looks like an even match up for two long-time rivals. I think the Green will step up, play hard and beat Greenback. Give me Midway in a close one.

Kyle Canup:
Well I thought the waves could have had one last week but they ended up not pulling it out, Greenback isn’t the best team this year but neither are we. Hopefully they get some fuel to their fire and surprise us and beat Greenback. So I’m staying true to the Green this week and taking Midway

Amber Johnson:
I’m on the fence about this pick. I can’t stand Greenback. There was a fight every time we played them in basketball. I almost fouled out in the first quarter my senior year. The refs gave us warnings. There is definitely no love lost between us. There are still stories told about this rivalry.
Ask some of the older Midway football players about black roses. I don’t care how tired you’ll get. I don’t care if we have a young team. Who cares if you get hurt. This is the game you play your best. Your fighting for pride on this one. Get fired up Green cause I’m counting on you. Midway in a slug fest.

Michael Rose:
Hmm, can Midway get a win? Reports are that the Waves really gave an all out effort last week at OS, but came up a little bit short. This week at Greenback? I sure hope for a win, but just do not see it in the cards. Greenback by 6
